It seems to me, that Art is a cross country language, that we understand with our soul and our senses. When you view a piece of art, you do not have to speak the language of the artist to sense and experience it. The artist creates partly from within herself, partly from her culture and schooling, but mostly from a place outside time, culture and language, a place, common to us all. |
